Lewa Safari Marathon 2024

The Lewa Safari Marathon, organised by Tusk in partnership with the Lewa Wildlife Conservancy, is regarded as one of the world’s top ten marathons. This unique event has raised millions of dollars since 2000 to fund Tusk's wildlife conservation, community development, education and healthcare initiatives across Kenya.

Due to unforeseen circumstances in Kenya, the Lewa Safari Marathon 2024 was cancelled.

The annual Tusk Lewa Safari Marathon has raised £8 million for frontline conservation, schools and healthcare initiatives across Kenya, providing vital funding to projects protecting endangered species and supporting the livelihoods of rural communities living alongside wildlife.

Organised by Tusk in partnership with the Lewa Wildlife Conservancy and co-headline sponsored by telecoms giants Safaricom and Huawei, all funds raised from this unique event are invested directly into Tusk’s projects in Kenya – including the Lewa Wildlife Conservancy.
