The 2023 Tusk Conservation Awards, in partnership with Ninety One, will be held on Monday 27th November to recognise extraordinary conservation leaders and their significant impacts on wildlife and communities across Africa.
Launched by Tusk in collaboration with Prince William in 2013, this year’s awards ceremony will be held at London’s iconic Savoy Hotel and hosted by wild animal biologist and natural history broadcaster, Liz Bonnin. Now in its eleventh year, the Tusk Conservation Awards recognise dedicated, forward-thinking individuals with inspirational stories and incredible impact from across the continent and tell their stories to the world.
The Awards have served as a springboard for Africa’s foremost conservationists. These guardians of biodiversity have since risen to the top of their fields, scaling their work and amplifying conservation impact across the continent.
“One of the most powerful tools we have for creating the change our planet needs is to share the stories of those who lead by example, working tirelessly to protect nature, as we go about our daily lives. I’m excited to be playing a part in celebrating these guardians of biodiversity at the Tusk Conservation Awards – a truly inspirational event and highlight of the conservation calendar.”
Liz Bonnin
