This September, the Charity’s major fundraising event, will take the form of a Ball for 550 people. The location will be Syon Park, the stunning stately home of the Duke & Duchess of Northumberland on the outskirts of London, close to Twickenham. The present Duke’s late brother was a founding Trustee of Tusk Trust and we are delighted that the family has offered to host this event to mark our 25th Anniversary.
Syon House lies within 200 acres of Capability Brown designed landscape and is the largest privately owned parkland in London. Guests will be received in the Historic State Rooms before moving out into a vast purpose built marquee set discreetly in the gardens and beautifully decorated for the evening to evoke the beauty of Africa.
Canapes and dinner will be prepared and served by the same highly acclaimed caterers behind The Ivy and Le Caprice and paired with wines provided by Justerini & Brooks, chosen by their Buying Director especially for the event.
The finale of Tusk’s 25th Anniversary Ball will be a live performance by a well-known headline act before carriages at midnight.
The Ball is being organised by a committee of key Tusk supporters chaired by one of the Charity’s celebrity patrons, Deborah Meaden of BBC’s Dragon’s Den.
