Levison Wood, the British explorer, writer and photographer recently returned from walking the length of the Himalayas, a six-month journey of over 1700 miles from Afghanistan to Bhutan. This amazing journey was televised on Channel 4 as a five part documentary series, airing throughout January 2016.
From 2013 - 2014 he also walked the length of the River Nile - an expedition of 4,000 miles that took nine months and was also documented to critical acclaim. Thanks to the generous sponsorship of Audley Travel, Levison gave a lecture in aid of Tusk in March 2015, recounting tales of his epic trek along the Nile. His book ‘Walking the Nile’ was a Sunday Times bestseller.
