A rare chance to hear Levison Wood's enthralling account of his epic challenge walking the length of the world's longest river. Despite facing enormous difficulties and real tragedy, the explorer completed the 9 month, 4,250 mile trek in September 2014, crossing six very different countries and widely differing terrain.
Levison's insights into Africa - past, present and future - are fascinating and acutely observed. Now you can come along to the Audley Travel Lecture to hear his adventures for yourself.
His talk will be accompanied by film footage (hopefully, some out-takes) and there will also be a Q&A session. Levison will be at the pay bar both before and after the talk.
The acclaimed sculptor, Rosamond Lloyd, will also be exhibiting her superb wildlife bronzes (www.rosamondlloyd.com).
Come and join Tusk for this special event.
